Lady Henrietta Mordaunt

     Lady Henrietta Mordaunt was born circa 1688. She was the daughter of General Charles Mordaunt, 3rd Earl of Peterborough and Carey Fraser.1 She married Alexander Gordon, 2nd Duke of Gordon, son of George Gordon, 1st Duke of Gordon and Lady Elizabeth Howard, circa 13 February 1706/7.3 She died on 11 October 1760 at Prestonhall, Cranston, Midlothian, ScotlandG.4
     Her married name became Gordon. After her marriage, Lady Henrietta Mordaunt was styled as Duchess of Gordon on 7 December 1716.

     Rev. Hon. Henry Egerton was born after 1681. He was the son of John Egerton, 3rd Earl of Bridgwater and Lady Jane Powlett.1 He married Lady Elizabeth Adriana Bentinck, daughter of Hans William Bentinck, 1st Earl of Portland and Jane Martha Temple, on 18 December 1720.2 He died on 1 April 1746.3
     He held the office of Bishop of Hereford.1

     James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Clanbrassill was the son of James Hamilton and Hon. Anne Mordaunt.1,2 He married Lady Harriet Bentinck, daughter of Hans William Bentinck, 1st Earl of Portland and Jane Martha Temple, on 15 October 1728 at The Hague, The NetherlandsG.2 He died on 17 March 1758 at St. Stephen's Green, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dundalk [Ireland] between 1715 and 1719.2 He was created 1st Baron Claneboye, co. Down [Ireland] on 13 May 1719.2 He was created 1st Viscount of the City of Limerick [Ireland] on 13 May 1719.2 He was member of the Common Council for the province of Georgia in 1733.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wendover between 1735 and 1741.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tavistock from 1741/42 to 1747.2 He was chairman of the Committee to enquire into the behaviour of the late Prime Minister, the Earl of Orford in March 1741/42.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 14 April 1746.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Morpeth between 1747 and 1754.2 He held the office of Governor of County Louth between 1756 and 1758.2 He was created 1st Earl of Clanbrassill, co. Armagh [Ireland] on 24 November 1756.2

     Francis Godolphin, 2nd Baron Godolphin was born circa 1700. He was the son of Reverend Henry Godolphin and Mary Godolphin.2 He married Lady Barbara Bentinck, daughter of Hans William Bentinck, 1st Earl of Portland and Jane Martha Temple, on 18 February 1733/34.1 He died on 25 May 1785, without issue.1
     He gained the title of 2nd Baron Godolphin.

     Charles William Francis Noel, 3rd Earl of Gainsborough was born on 20 October 1850.3 He was the son of Charles George Noel, 2nd Earl of Gainsborough and Lady Ida Harriet Augusta Hay.4 He married, firstly, Augusta Mary Catherine Berkeley, daughter of Robert Martin Berkeley and Lady Mary Catherine Browne, on 9 May 1876.4 He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Dease, daughter of James Arthur Dease and Charlotte Jerningham, on 2 February 1880.3 He died on 17 April 1926 at age 75.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 10th Hussars.3 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Barham, of Barham Court and Teston, Kent [U.K., 1805] on 13 August 1881.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Gainsborough, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1841] on 13 August 1881.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Campden of Campden, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1841] on 13 August 1881.3 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Middleton, of Barham Court and Teston, Kent [G.B., 1781] on 13 August 1881.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Noel of Ridlington, co.      Mary Davies married, firstly, Colonel Lord George Bentinck, son of Capt.-Gen. Henry Bentinck, 1st Duke of Portland and Lady Elizabeth Noel, on 29 June 1753.1 She married, secondly, Commodore Walter Griffith in June 1759.1
     From 29 June 1753, her married name became Bentinck. From June 1759, her married name became Griffith.

     Elizabeth Cumberland was the daughter of Richard Cumberland and Elizabeth Ridge.1,2 She married Lord Edward Charles Cavendish-Bentinck, son of William Bentinck, 2nd Duke of Portland and Lady Margaret Cavendish Harley, on 28 December 1782.1 She died in 1837.1
     Her married name became Cavendish-Bentinck.
