     Godard John George Charles Bentinck was born on 3 August 1857.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck and Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont.1 He married Countess Augustine Wilhelmine Louise Adrienne de Bylandt, daughter of Count Auguste de Bylandt, on 12 June 1884.1 He died on 4 January 1940 at age 82.1
     He was appointed Knight of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.J.St.J.)1 He was Coadjutor of the Teutonic Order.1 He lived at Amerongen Castle, The Netherlands.1

     Countess Augustine Wilhelmine Louise Adrienne de Bylandt was the daughter of Count Auguste de Bylandt.1 She married Godard John George Charles Bentinck, son of Lt.-Gen. Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck and Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, on 12 June 1884.1 She died on 27 January 1916.1
     Her married name became Bentinck.

     Victoria Mary Frederica Mechtild Bentinck was born on 6 September 1863.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck and Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont.1 She died on 5 February 1949 at age 85, unmarried.1

Admiral Sir James Hawkins-Whitshed, 1st Bt.1

     Admiral Sir James Hawkins-Whitshed, 1st Bt. was born in 1761.2 He was the son of Rt. Rev. James Hawkins and Catherine Keene.2,3 He married Sophia Henrietta Bentinck, daughter of Captain John Albert Bentinck and Reniera van Tuyll van Serooskerken, on 11 December 1791.1 He died on 29 October 1849.1
     He was given the name of James Hawkins at birth.2 In 1791 his name was legally changed to James Hawkins-Whitshed by Act of Parliament.2 He was awarded a gold medal for distinguished service off Cape St. Vincent.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1830.2 He was created 1st Baronet Hawkins-Whitshed [U.K.] on 16 May 1834.2 He was created Baron Hawkins-Whitshed [Hanover] in 1843.2 He gained the rank of Admiral of the Fleet.2 He lived at Killincarrig, Greystones, County Wicklow, Ireland.2

     Reniera van Tuyll van Serooskerken was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Jan Maximilian van Tuyll van Serooskerken, Heer van Vleuten en Westbroek and Lady Ursula Christine Reiniera van Reede, van Amerongen.1 She married Captain John Albert Bentinck, son of William Bentinck, 1st Graf Bentinck and Charlotte Sophie Gräfin von Aldenburg, on 17 July 1763 at The Hague, The Netherlands.1,2 She died in 1792.1
     Her married name became Bentinck.

     Richard Cumberland was born on 19 February 1731 at Master's Lodge, Trinity Colege, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.3 He was the son of Dr. Denison Cumberland and Johanna Bentley.4 He married Elizabeth Ridge on 19 December 1759.2 He died on 7 May 1811 at age 80 at Bedford Palce, London, England.3
