Valentine Browne, 2nd Earl of Kenmore was born on 15 January 1788.2 He was the son of Valentine Browne, 1st Earl of Kenmare and Mary Aylmer.1 He married Augusta Wilmot, daughter of Sir Robert Wilmot, 2nd Bt. and Mary Woollett, on 1 July 1816.2 He died on 31 October 1853 at age 65, without issue.1
He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Castlerosse [I., 1798] on 3 October 1812.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Browne, of Mohaliffe, co. Kerry [I., 1622] on 3 October 1812.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Kenmare [I., 1801] on 3 October 1812.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Castlerosse [I., 1801] on 3 October 1812.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Kenmare [I., 1798] on 3 October 1812.1 He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of County Kerry.2 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Kerry Militia.2 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland].1 He was created 1st Baron Kenmare of Castlerosse, co. Kerry [U.K.] on 17 March 1841.1 He lived at Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland.2 On his death, his UK barony became extinct.1
