Charlotte Dillon was born on 11 September 1755.1 She was the daughter of Henry Dillon, 11th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin and Lady Charlotte Lee.1 She married Valentine Browne, 1st Earl of Kenmare, son of Sir Thomas Browne, 6th Bt. and Anne Cooke, on 7 July 1777.1 She died on 15 August 1782 at age 26 at Cambrai, FranceG, without male issue.1
     From 7 July 1777, her married name became Browne.1

     Valentine Browne, 1st Earl of Kenmare was born in January 1754.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Browne, 6th Bt. and Anne Cooke.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Charlotte Dillon, daughter of Henry Dillon, 11th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin and Lady Charlotte Lee, on 7 July 1777.1 He married, secondly, Mary Aylmer, daughter of Matthew Aylmer and Margaret Mathew, on 24 August 1785 at Lyons, County Kildare, IrelandG.1 He died on 3 October 1812 at age 58.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Browne, of Mohaliffe, co. Kerry [I., 1622] on 9 September 1795.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Kenmare [I., 1689] on 9 September 1795.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Castlerosse [I., 1689] on 9 September 1795.1 On 12 February 1798 re-cr BARON OF CASTLEROSS and VISCOUNT KENMARE.3 He was created 1st Baron Castlerosse [Ireland] on 12 February 1798, with the 1689 peerage not being recognised.1 He was created 1st Viscount Kenmare [Ireland] on 12 February 1798, with the 1689 peerage not being recognised.1 He was created 1st Earl of Kenmare [Ireland] on 2 January 1801.1 He was created 1st Viscount Castlerosse [Ireland] on 2 January 1801.2

     Sir George Goold, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 March 1778.2 He was the son of Henry Michael Goold and Catharine O'Callaghan.3 He married Lady Charlotte Browne, daughter of Valentine Browne, 1st Earl of Kenmare and Hon. Charlotte Dillon, on 13 May 1802.1 He died on 16 March 1870 at age 91.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Goold, of Old Court, co. Cork [U.K., 1801] on 20 August 1818.2

     Sir Henry Valentine Goold, 3rd Bt. was born on 7 July 1803.1 He was the son of Sir George Goold, 2nd Bt. and Lady Charlotte Browne.1 He died on 18 June 1893 at age 89, unmarried.1
     He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Goold, of Old Court, co. Cork [U.K., 1801] on 16 March 1870.1

     George Ignatius Goold was born on 7 September 1805.1 He was the son of Sir George Goold, 2nd Bt. and Lady Charlotte Browne.1 He married Clara Smith, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Webber Smith and Eleanora Elizabeth Simeon, on 3 November 1840.1 He died on 6 November 1879 at age 74.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Waterford.1

Clara Smith1

     Her married name became Goold.
