Jane Hoskyns was the daughter of Philip Hoskyns.1 She married William Matthews, son of William Matthews and Mary Ashman, on 18 September 1750.1 She died in May 1768.1

Sir Howard William Kennard was born on 23 March 1878.3 He was the son of Arthur Challis Kennard and Anne Homan-Mulock.2 He married Harriet Norris, daughter of Jonathan Norris, in 1908.3 He died on 12 November 1955 at age 77.1
Sir Howard William Kennard was invested as a Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1923.3 He held the office of Minister to Belgrade in 1925.3 He held the office of Minister to Berne between 1931 and 1934.1 He held the office of Ambassador to Poland between 1934 and 1941.1 He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1938.3
