Bedford [U.K.] on 4 March 1937.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Bedfordshire in 1941.¹

     Bernard Halley Stewart was born on 6 May 1874.¹ He was the son of Sir Halley Stewart and Jane Elizabeth Atkinson.² He married Mabel Florence Wyatt on 11 April 1905.¹ He died on 30 July 1958 at age 84.¹

     Hon. George Chenevix Hill was born on 4 May 1887.¹ He was the son of Captain Arthur Blundell George Sandys Hill and Helen Emily Chenevix Trench.¹ He married Hon. Patricia Irene Wilmot Tufton, daughter of John Sackville Richard Tufton, 2nd Baron Hothfield of Hothfield, on 14 December 1921.¹ He died on 12 October 1963 at age 76.¹
     Hon.
