     Malcolm Stewart was born on 20 December 1909.1 He was the son of Sir Percy Malcolm Stewart, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Maud Pratt.2 He married Mary Stephanie de Bertodano, daughter of Frederick Ramon de Bertodano, 8° Marquis del Moral, on 14 February 1935.1 He and Mary Stephanie de Bertodano were divorced in 1957.1 He died on 4 December 1989 at age 79.1
     Malcolm Stewart was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1937 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Cicely Mary Isabel Hill was the daughter of Captain Arthur Blundell George Sandys Hill and Helen Emily Chenevix Trench.1 She married Hon. Sackville Philip Tufton, son of Henry James Tufton, 1st Baron Hothfield of Hothfield and Alice Harriot Argyll Clitherow, on 12 January 1917.1 She died on 26 June 1912, without issue.1
     From 12 January 1917, her married name became Tufton.1
