     Trafford Trafford was born on 1 December 1770.1 He was the son of John Leigh and Susanna Trafford.1 He married Henrietta Broughton, daughter of Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton, 6th Bt. and Mary Wicker, on 11 March 1794.1 He died on 18 May 1859 at age 88 at Oughtrington, Cheshire, EnglandG.2 He was buried at Lymm, Cheshire, EnglandG.2
     He was given the name of Trafford Leigh at birth.1 On 5 December 1791 his name was legally changed to Trafford Trafford by Sign Manual, under the terms of the will of his maternal uncle.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cheshire.1 He lived at Oughtrington Hall, Cheshire, EnglandG.1
