Bernard Pauncefote was born on 28 June 1848.1 He was the son of Bernard Pauncefote and Eliza Louisa Philips.1 He married Emily de Courcy Baker, daughter of Reverend Robert Baker, on 20 August 1873.1 He died on 20 September 1882 at age 34, unmarried.1
