Lieutenant Algernon Robert Sanderson was born on 18 October 1844.1 He was the son of Richard Sanderson and Hon. Charlotte Matilda Manners-Sutton.1 He died in 1863 at Umbeyla Pass, killed in action.1

Henry Sanderson Furniss, 1st and last Baron Sanderson was born on 1 October 1868.2 He was the son of Thomas Sanderson Furniss and Mary Sanderson.1 He married Averil Dorothy Nicholl, daughter of Henry Frederick Nicholl, on 23 January 1902.2 He died on 25 March 1939 at age 70.2
