     Hon. Robert Kennedy was born in 1773.1 He was the son of Captain Archibald Kennedy, 11th Earl of Cassillis and Anne Watts.1 He married Jane Macomb, daughter of Alexander Macomb.1 He died on 15 November 1843.1

Captain Archibald Kennedy, 11th Earl of Cassillis1

     Captain Archibald Kennedy, 11th Earl of Cassillis was the son of Archibald Kennedy and unknown Massam.2,3 He married, firstly, Katherine Schuyler, daughter of Peter Schuyler and Hester Walter, before June 1765, bringing him large properties in New York.2 He married, secondly, Anne Watts, daughter of John Watts and unknown de Lancy, on 27 April 1769.2 He died on 30 December 1794 at London, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) in February 1795.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in 1757 in the Royal Navy.2 He was commander of the a squadron off North America.2 He succeeded as the 13th Lord Kennedy [S., 1458] on 18 December 1792.2 He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Cassillis [S., 1509] on 18 December 1792.2

Anne Watts1

     Anne Watts was the daughter of John Watts and unknown de Lancy.1,2 She married Captain Archibald Kennedy, 11th Earl of Cassillis, son of Archibald Kennedy and unknown Massam, on 27 April 1769.2 She died on 29 December 1793 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 She was buried on 1 January 1794 at Holyrood House, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 She died intestate and her estate was administered in January 1852.2
     Her married name became Kennedy. After her marriage, Anne Watts was styled as Countess of Cassillis on 18 December 1792.

     Lord Gilbert Kennedy was born on 14 July 1822.1 He was the son of Archibald Kennedy, Earl of Cassillis and Eleanor Allardyce.1 He married Margaret Baird, daughter of Sir David Baird of Newbyth, 2nd Bt. and Lady Anne Kennedy, on 26 November 1851.1 He died on 25 November 1901 at age 79.1
