Muir Dudley Coats was born on 15 September 1897.1 He was the son of Sir Stuart Auchincloss Coats, 2nd Bt. and Jane Muir Greenlees.2 He married Audrey Evelyn James, daughter of William Dodge James and Evelyn Elizabeth Forbes, on 25 March 1922.1 He died on 7 August 1927 at age 29.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Scots Guards.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.1

Sir Thomas Lyttelton was the son of Thomas Westcote and Elizabeth de Luttleton.2 He married Johanna Burley, daughter of Sir William Burley, after 1444.2 He died on 23 August 1481.1
He wrote the book Treatise on Tenures.2 He was also known as Sir Thomas Littleton.3 He was a practising Serjeant-at-Law in 1454.2 He was a practising King's Serjeant in 1455.2 He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1475.2 He held the office of Judge of Common Pleas between 1475 and 1481.2 He lived at Frankley, Worcestershire, England.3 He also had two daughters, who both died unmarried.2
