     Major Edmund Walcott Newland was born on 11 January 1858.1 He was the son of Captain Charles Frankland Newland and Anne Elizabeth Wood Walcott.1 He was baptised on 18 February 1858 at Wells, Norfolk, England.1 He married Ellen Charlotte Hornby, daughter of Charles Hornby, in 1900 at St. Paul's Church, Onslow Square, Kensington, London, England.1 He died in 1937 at Bournemouth, Dorset, England.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Army Pay Department.1

     Pamela Wynn Reeves was the daughter of Herbert Wynn Reeves. She married, firstly, Algernon James Riccarton Tudor-Craig, son of Sir Algernon Tudor-Craig, in 1955.1 She married, secondly, Sir John Hamilton Wedgwood, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Ralph Lewis Wedgwood, 1st Bt. and Iris Veronica Pawson, on 30 April 1982.2 She died on 5 December 2017.3
     She graduated in 1952 with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)2 From 1955, her married name became Tudor-Craig. She was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1958. From 30 April 1982, her married name became Wedgwood. She lived in 2003 at 9 St. Anne's Crescent, Lewes, Sussex, England.2
