     Sir Henry Marc Sursock Cochrane, 4th Bt. was born on 23 October 1946.1 He is the son of Sir Desmond Oriel Alastair George Weston Cochrane, 3rd Bt. and Yvonne Sursock.2 He married Hala es-Said, daughter of Fouad Mahmoud Bey es-Said, on 28 June 1969.1
     Sir Henry Marc Sursock Cochrane, 4th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Marc.1 He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, Bachelor of Business Studies (B.B.S.).1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Cochrane, of Woodbrook, Old Connaught, Bray, co. Wicklow, Lisgar Castle, Ballieborough, co. Cavan and Kildare Street, Dublin [U.K., 1903] in 1979.1 He was a director of Hambros Bank Ltd between 1979 and 1985.1 He was a director of GT Management plc in 1986.1 He lived in 2003 at Woodbrook, Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.1
