     Christopher Bethell was born on 10 August 1728.1 He was the son of Sir William Codrington, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Bethell.2 He married Hon. Anne Sandys, daughter of Samuel Sandys, 1st Baron Sandys, on 21 July 1768.1 He died in September 1797 at age 69, without issue.1
     Christopher Bethell was baptised with the name of Christopher Codrington.1 He lived at Dyrham Park, Middlesex, England.1

     Edward Codrington was born on 22 June 1732.3 He was the son of Sir William Codrington, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Bethell.2 He married Rebecca le Sturgeon on 4 May 1759.3 He died in February 1775 at age 42.3
