     James Martin Bonar Law, 2nd Baron Coleraine was born on 8 August 1931.1 He is the son of Richard Kidston Law, 1st Baron Coleraine and Mary Virginia Nellis.2 He married, firstly, Emma Elizabeth Richards, daughter of Nigel Richards, on 30 April 1958.1 He and Emma Elizabeth Richards were divorced in 1966.1 He married, secondly, Anne Patricia Farrant, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Ralph Henry Farrant, on 31 August 1966.1 He married, thirdly, Marion Robina Ferrens, daughter of Sir Thomas Ferrens, on 12 September 1998.1
     James Martin Bonar Law, 2nd Baron Coleraine usually went by his middle name of Martin.1 He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was a practising solicitor in 1958.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Coleraine, of Haltemprice, East Riding, co. Yorks [U.K., 1954] in 1980.1 He lived in 2003 at The Dower House, Sunderlandwick, Driffield, Yorkshire, England.1

Hon. Thomas George Breadalbane Morgan-Grenville and Georgina St. John Murphy, on 29 April 1950.3
