     Mariot Ysobel Cheyne was the daughter of Charles Cheyne and Eva Alice Wheeler.1 She married Field Marshal William Edmund Ironside, 1st Baron Ironside, son of William Ironside and Emma Maria Richards, on 26 June 1915.1 She died in 1984.1
      From 26 June 1915, her married name became Ironside.1 As a result of her marriage, Mariot Ysobel Cheyne was styled as Baroness Ironside on 29 January 1941.
