     Letitia Popham was the daughter of General Alexander Popham and Letitia Carre. She married Sir Edward Seymour, 4th Bt., son of Sir Edward Seymour, 3rd Bt. and Anne Portman, in 1674. She died on 16 March 1714.

     General Alexander Popham was born in 1605.¹ He married Letitia Carre, daughter of William Carre.¹ He died in 1669.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bath in 1640.¹ He lived at Littlecote, Wiltshire, England.²

     Commander Edward William Seymour was born in 1791.¹ He was the son of Colonel Francis Compton Seymour and Leonora Perkins.¹ He married, firstly, Charlotte Alice Greene, daughter of James Greene, in 1821.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Graham, daughter of Reverend Charles Graham, on 19 April 1849.¹ He married, thirdly, Louisa Frances Grant, daughter of William Macdowall Grant, 6th of Arndilly and Hon. Eleanora Fraser, on 5 November 1863.¹ He died on 6 July 1874, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He lived at Porthmawr, Breconshire, Wales.¹

     Henry John Hyde Seymour was born on 1 May 1795.¹ He was the son of Colonel Francis Compton Seymour and Leonora Perkins.¹ He married Charlotte Whitcombe, daughter of Sir Samuel Whitcombe, on 20 November 1821.¹ He died on 3 November 1860 at age 65.¹

     Charlotte Whitcombe was the daughter of Sir Samuel Whitcombe.¹ She married Henry John Hyde Seymour, son of Colonel Francis Compton Seymour and Leonora Perkins, on 20 November 1821.¹ She died on 20 January 1869.¹
      Her married name became Seymour.
