Reverend Henry Seymour was born on 4 July 1825. He was the son of Henry John Hyde Seymour and Charlotte Whitcombe. He married, firstly, Susannah Briscoe Tritton, daughter of Reverend Robert Tritton and Mary Briscoe, on 4 November 1851. He married, secondly, Emmeline Millicent Walker, daughter of James Walker, on 7 January 1892. He died on 12 August 1911 at age 86.
