     Colonel Edward Dutton Colt was the son of George Colt and Elizabeth Dutton.2 He died on 7 December 1700 at Hyde Park, London, England, killed in a duel.1

     Sir John Colt, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 12 November 1750.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir John Dutton Colt, 2nd Bt. and Mary Powell.2 He married Mallet Langley, daughter of Captain George Langley and Hon. Mallet Vaughan, on 24 July 1774.1 He died circa June 1810.1 He was buried on 29 June 1810.1
     Sir John Colt, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Colt, of St. James's, Westminster, Middlesex [E., 1694] circa May 1809.1
