     Jane Ridley was born circa 1707.1 She was the daughter of Richard Ridley and Margaret White.1 She married Matthew Bell, son of Matthew Bell and Jane Salkeld.1 She died in 1786.1

     Major Robert Alfred Colville was born on 15 February 1888.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Arthur Eward William Colville and Olivia Spencer-Churchill.2 He married Honora Violet Martin, daughter of John Stapleton Martin, on 1 December 1951.1 He died on 25 December 1959 at age 71, without issue.1
     Major Robert Alfred Colville gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Worcestershire Yeomanry.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Cameron Highlanders.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1
