     Nigel Cecil Peter Conant was born on 9 July 1891.1 He was the son of Henry John Conant and Geraldine Effie Grimshawe.2 He married Morfydd Williams, daughter of W. Williams, on 20 June 1941.1 He died on 8 July 1981 at age 89.1
     Nigel Cecil Peter Conant was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Durham Light Infantry.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Victoria between 1915 and 1919.1
