     Daniel Molloy Massy was the son of Francis Hugh Massy and Anne Bomford Molloy.2 He married Sophia Grant, daughter of Alexander Grant, on 21 October 1876.1 He died on 31 October 1908, without issue.1
     Daniel Molloy Massy gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Tipperary Artillery Militia.1
