     Francis Dennis Massy-Dawson was born on 23 September 1803.1 He was the son of James Hewitt Massy-Dawson and Eliza Jane Dennis.2 He married, firstly, Susan Sinclair, daughter of Charles St. Clair, 4th/13th Lord Sinclair, on 6 August 1829.1 He married, secondly, Harriet Griffinhoof, daughter of Reverend Thomas Sparke Griffinhoof, on 20 March 1861.1 He died on 16 November 1870 at age 67.1

     Francis Staunton Staunton-Massy was born on 27 December 1840.1 He was the son of Francis Dennis Massy-Dawson and Susan Sinclair.2 He married Julia Eliza Gilmour, daughter of T. C. Gilmour, on 2 August 1870.1 He died on 11 December 1908 at age 67.1
     Francis Staunton Staunton-Massy was baptised with the name of Francis Staunton Massy-Dawson.1 His name was legally changed to Francis Staunton Staunton-Massy by Deed Poll.3
