     Sophia Grant was the daughter of Alexander Grant.2 She married, firstly, William Massy, son of Robert George Massy and Helen Sutton, on 30 September 1857.3 She married, secondly, Daniel Molloy Massy, son of Francis Hugh Massy and Anne Bomford Molloy, on 21 October 1876.1 She died on 16 July 1919.1
     From 30 September 1857, her married name became Massy.
