     Brig.-Gen. Herbert Edward Trevor was the son of Colonel G. H. Trevor.2 He married Aileen Ismenia Massy, daughter of Robert Harding Massy and Harriet Elizabeth Fetherstone, on 17 April 1902.1 He died on 23 March 1939.1
     Brig.-Gen. Herbert Edward Trevor gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1
