Sir Michael John Bewes Grierson of Lag, 12th Bt. was born on 24 July 1921.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander George William Grierson and Violet Ethel Bewes.1 He married Valerie Anne Wright, daughter of Russell George Wright, on 17 April 1971.2 He died on 24 March 2008 at age 86.3

Frederick Vedast Grierson was born on 28 November 1888.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Davidson Grierson of Lag, 9th Bt. and Fannie White.1 He married Frederica Skipp, daughter of Arthur Frederick Skipp, in 1909.1 He died on 14 February 1922 at age 33.1
