     John Poyntz was the son of Sir Nicholas Poyntz and Elizabeth Mill.2 He married Alice Cock, daughter of John Cock.1 He died circa 1466.1
     John Poyntz lived at Iron Acton, Gloucestershire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Exeter in 1447.1
