     Stephen Poyntz was born on 18 August 1803.1 He was the son of Admiral Stephen Poyntz and Frances Lydia Brace.2 He married Mary Evans in 1831.1 He died on 1 April 1836 at age 32, without issue.1

     Edward Henry Poyntz was born on 1 December 1812.1 He was the son of Admiral Stephen Poyntz and Frances Lydia Brace.2 He married Mary Frances Massy, daughter of William Massy, on 14 January 1834.1 He died on 9 July 1880 at age 67.1
     Edward Henry Poyntz gained the rank of Ensign in 1832 in the service of the 59th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1834.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1841.1 He retired from the military in 1848.1

     Frances Mary Poyntz was born on 30 April 1808.1 She was the daughter of Admiral Stephen Poyntz and Frances Lydia Brace.2 She married Thomas Brace on 17 February 1848.1 She died on 1 April 1883 at age 74.1
     From 17 February 1848, her married name became Brace.1
