Major Sir Charles Arthur John Cooke, 11th Bt. was born on 12 November 1905.1 He was the son of Sir William Henry Charles Wemyss Cooke, 10th Bt. and Lady Mildred Denison.2 He married Diana Perceval, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Edward Maxwell Perceval, on 12 July 1932.1 He died on 5 July 1978 at age 72.1
Major Sir Charles Arthur John Cooke, 11th Bt. was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1940, where he became a POW.1 He succeeded to the title of 11th Baronet Cooke, of Wheatley Hall, co. Sir William Henry Charles Wemyss Cooke, 10th Bt. was born on 21 June 1872.1 He was the son of Sir William Ridley Charles Cooke, 9th Bt. and Blanche Harriet Juanita Georgina Feilden.2 He married, firstly, Lady Mildred Denison, daughter of William Henry Forester Denison, 1st Earl of Londesborough and Lady Edith Frances Wilhelmina Somerset, on 15 July 1902.1 He and Lady Mildred Denison were divorced in 1925.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Ross, daughter of Richard Ross, on 6 August 1927.1 He died on 11 June 1964 at age 91.1
