     Catherine Coote was born circa 1680.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Chidley Coote and Catherine Sandys.2 She married Henry Boyle, 1st Earl of Shannon, son of Henry Boyle, in 1715.1
     From 1715, her married name became Boyle.1

     Sir Philips Coote was baptised on 10 March 1658.1 He was the son of Chidley Coote and Alice Philips.2 He married, firstly, Jane Jones, daughter of Henry Jones.1 He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Brabazon, daughter of William Brabazon, 3th Earl of Meath and Jane Jones, in 1686.1
     He also had two daughters by his second wife.1 He lived at Mount Coote, Kilmallock, County Limerick, Ireland.1
