     Charles Purdon Coote was born on 8 August 1847.1 He was the son of Charles Purdon Coote and Lydia Lucy Wingfield-Digby.2 He married Harriette Louisa Maxwell, daughter of Robert Perceval Maxwell, on 22 June 1871.1 He died on 20 September 1893 at age 46.1
     Charles Purdon Coote held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Cork.1 He was Gentleman Usher to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cork.1 He lived at Ballyclough Castle, County Cork, Ireland.1 He lived at Bearforest, County Cork, Ireland.1
