     Lady Mabel Edith Fox-Strangways was born on 17 February 1918.¹ She is the daughter of Giles Stephen Holland Fox-Strangways, 6th Earl of Ilchester and Lady Helen Mary Theresa Vane-Tempest-Stewart.¹ She married Ivor Grosvenor Guest, 2nd Viscount Wimborne, son of Ivor Churchill Guest, 1st Viscount Wimborne and Hon. Alice Katherine Sibell Grosvenor, on 22 November 1938.²
      Lady Mabel Edith Fox-Strangways usually went by her middle name of Edith.¹ Her married name became Guest.

     Giles Stephen Holland Fox-Strangways, 6th Earl of Ilchester was born on 31 May 1874.¹ He was the son of Henry Edward Fox-Strangways, 5th Earl of Ilchester and Lady Mary Eleanor Anne Dawson.¹ He married Lady Helen Mary Theresa Vane-Tempest-Stewart, daughter of Charles Stewart Vane-Tempest-Stewart, 6th Marquess of Londonderry and Lady Theresa Susey Helen Talbot, on 25 January 1902.¹ He died on 29 October 1959 at age 85.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Coldstream Guards.¹ He succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Ilchester, co. Somerset, Baron of Woodford Strangways, co. Dorset [G.B., 1741] on 6 December 1905.¹ He succeeded to the title of 6th Earl of Ilchester [G.B., 1756] on 6 December 1905.¹ He succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Ilchester and Stavordale, Baron of Redlynch, co. Somerset [G.B., 1747] on 6 December 1905.¹ He gained the rank of GSO(3) in 1914.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Legion of Honour.¹ He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He was Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery between 1922 and 1959.¹ He was Trustee of the British Museum between 1931 and 1959.¹ He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1950.¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.).¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset before 1956.¹

     William Paulett, 3rd Marquess of Winchester was the son of John Paulett, 2nd Marquess of Winchester and Elizabeth Willoughby. He married Hon. Agnes Howard, daughter of William Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Effingham and Katherine Broughton.¹ He died on 24 November 1598.
     He gained the title of 3rd Marquess of Winchester.

     Hon. Mary Montagu was the daughter of General Henry Montagu, 6th Baron Rokeby and Magdalen Hurley. She married John Paulet, 14th Marquess of Winchester, son of Charles Ingoldsby Paulet, 13th Marquess of Winchester and Anne Andrews, on 29 November 1855. She died on 6 September 1868.
      Her married name became Paulet.

     William Paulett, 4th Marquess of Winchester was the son of William Paulett, 3rd Marquess of Winchester and Hon. Agnes Howard. He married Lady Lucy Cecil, daughter of Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter and Dorothy Neville, on 28 February 1586/87.¹ He died on 4 February 1628.
     He gained the title of 4th Marquess of Winchester.

     John Frescheville, 1st Baron Frescheville of Stavely married Sarah Harington, daughter of Sir John Harington, in April 1630.²
     He gained the title of 1st Baron Frescheville of Staveley.²

     Lady Isabella Tufton was the daughter of Thomas Tufton, 6th Earl of Thanet and Lady Catherine Cavendish.¹ She married Sir Francis Blake Delaval, son of Francis Blake Delaval and Rhoda Apreece.¹ She married, firstly, Lord Sir Nassau Powlett, son of Sir Charles Powlett, 2nd Duke of Bolton and Henrietta Crofts, in 1731.¹ She died on 10 January 1764.¹
      Her married name became Delaval.¹ From 1731, her married name became Powlett.¹

     Sir Robert Needham married, secondly, Jane Cockayne, daughter of Sir William Cockayne.² He died in 1661.²
