     Douglas Thomas Archibald Nelthorpe Cochrane was born in 1900.1 He was the son of Major John Palmer Cochrane and Frances Gilbert.2 He married, firstly, Ivy Massdorp, daughter of G. H. Massdorp, on 14 July 1926.1 He married, secondly, Marie Hammond on 4 May 1935.3 He died in 1988.3
     Douglas Thomas Archibald Nelthorpe Cochrane gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force.1
