     Reverend Alexander Staples was the son of Reverend Alexander Staples and Jane Wilson.1,2 He married Dorothea Alexander, daughter of Reverend Monsey Alexander and Susan Maria McClintock, in 1816.3 He died in 1864.1
     Reverend Alexander Staples was the Rector at Gowran, County Kilkenny, Ireland.3 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1 He had five sons and three daughters.3

     Reverend Alexander Staples was born on 11 January 1739.3 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Staples and Grace Houston.2 He married Jane Wilson.3
     He also had two daughters.3

     Robert Alexander was born in April 1771.1 He was the son of William Alexander and Charlotte Monsey.1 He married, firstly, unknown Williams.1 He married, secondly, Grace Blacker, daughter of Reverend St. John Blacker, on 6 May 1809.1 He died on 15 July 1861 at age 90.1
     Robert Alexander held the office of Member, Council at Madras.1 He was associated with the Honourable East India Company Service (H.E.I.C.S.).1

     Grace Blacker was the daughter of Reverend St. John Blacker.1 She married Robert Alexander, son of William Alexander and Charlotte Monsey, on 6 May 1809.1 She died on 19 October 1835.1

     Robert Alexander was born on 2 July 1813.1 He was the son of Robert Alexander and Grace Blacker.1 He married, firstly, Caroline Skelton Murray, daughter of George Murray, on 10 October 1846.1 He married, secondly, Emeline Bethia Grenville, daughter of R. K. Grenville, on 13 December 1870.1 He died on 16 August 1882 at age 69, without issue.1
     Robert Alexander was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He lived at Holywood, Kent, England.1
