     William Alexander was the son of Nathaniel Alexander and Elizabeth McClintock.1 He married Charlotte Monsey, daughter of Messenger Monsey, on 1 January 1753.1 He died in 1774.1
     William Alexander graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Law (B.L.).1 He was registered as a Barrister-at-law.1 He lived at London, Middlesex, England.1

     Charlotte Monsey was the daughter of Messenger Monsey.1 She married William Alexander, son of Nathaniel Alexander and Elizabeth McClintock, on 1 January 1753.1 She died on 11 October 1798.1
     From 1 January 1753, her married name became Alexander.1

     Dorothea Alexander was the daughter of Reverend Monsey Alexander and Susan Maria McClintock.1 She married Reverend Alexander Staples, son of Reverend Alexander Staples, in 1816, they had five sons and three daughters.1 She died in 1859.1
