     Venerable Robert Alexander was born on 19 June 1788.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon and Rt. Rev. Nathaniel Alexander and Anne Jackson.1 He married, firstly, Catherine Staples, daughter of Rt. Hon. John Staples and Hon. Henrietta Molesworth, on 21 August 1813.1 He married, secondly, Hester Helena McManus, daughter of Colonel Alexander McManus, in December 1837, there were no children of this marriage.1 He died on 31 July 1840 at age 52, (nearly three months before the death of his father).1
     He held the office of Archdeacon of Down.1

Catherine Staples1

     Catherine Staples was the daughter of Rt. Hon. John Staples and Hon. Henrietta Molesworth.1,2 She married Venerable Robert Alexander, son of Rt. Hon and Rt. Rev. Nathaniel Alexander and Anne Jackson, on 21 August 1813.1 She died on 12 March 1830.1
     From 21 August 1813, her married name became Alexander.1

     Nathaniel Alexander was born on 15 August 1815.1 He was the son of Venerable Robert Alexander and Catherine Staples.1 He married Florinda Bagley, daughter of Richard Boyle Bagley and Hon. Alicia Handcock, on 7 April 1842.1 He died on 5 January 1853 at age 37.1
     He lived at Portglenone, County Antrim, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Antrim.1

Florinda Bagley1

     Florinda Bagley was the daughter of Richard Boyle Bagley and Hon. Alicia Handcock.1 She married, firstly, Nathaniel Alexander, son of Venerable Robert Alexander and Catherine Staples, on 7 April 1842.1 She married, secondly, Edmund Francis Leslie in 1855.1 She died on 24 May 1862.1
     From 7 April 1842, her married name became Alexander.1 From 1855, her married name became Leslie.1
