     William Stuart Alexander was born on 29 October 1807.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon and Rt. Rev. Nathaniel Alexander and Anne Jackson.1 He married Janet Bethia Dallas, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Charles Dallas, on 15 July 1834.1 He died on 9 July 1883 at age 75.1
     William Stuart Alexander lived at Ballyarton, County Derry, Ireland.1 He was employed by the Bengal Civil Service.1

     Janet Bethia Dallas was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Charles Dallas.1 She married William Stuart Alexander, son of Rt. Hon and Rt. Rev. Nathaniel Alexander and Anne Jackson, on 15 July 1834.1 She died on 13 October 1876.1
     From 15 July 1834, her married name became Alexander.1
