     Ernest Bruce Alexander was born on 13 September 1849.1 He was the son of William Stuart Alexander and Janet Bethia Dallas.1 He married, firstly, Ella Sarah Williamson, daughter of John William Williamson, on 27 October 1881.1 He married, secondly, Mary Logan, daughter of Sir Galbraith Logan.1 He died without issue.1

     Reverend John Molesworth Staples was born on 1 September 1776.3 He was the son of Rt. Hon. John Staples and Hon. Henrietta Molesworth.1,2 He married Anne Alexander, daughter of Rt. Hon and Rt. Rev. Nathaniel Alexander and Anne Jackson, in September 1813.3 He died on 4 April 1859 at age 82.1
     Reverend John Molesworth Staples was the Rector of Lissan and Upper Moville, County Derry.1
