     Helmuth von Helster was the son of Captain Alexander von Helster.1 He married Clara Kennedy, daughter of Captain John Gilbert Kennedy and Henrietta Maria Louise Achenbach, on 3 November 1920.1 He died on 7 May 1928.1
     Helmuth von Helster gained the rank of officer in the service of the 5th Royal Prussian Lancers.1
