Arundel Cotter was born on 24 July 1912.1 He is the son of Major Arundel John Plunkett Cotter and Emma Stothard Carter.2 He married, firstly, Madelyn Mitchell, daughter of Forest Mitchell, on 2 January 1942.1 He and Madelyn Mitchell were divorced in 1952.1 He married, secondly, Gabrielle Pauline Tarter, daughter of Harry Tarter.1
     Lt.-Col. Arundel Cotter fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the U.S. Army.1

     Ann Becher was born on 20 January 1761.3 She was the daughter of John Townsend Becher and Mary O'Donovan.1,2 She married Major James Lombard on 1 May 1786, they had no male issue.2,3 She died on 17 July 1830 at age 69.3
     From 1 May 1786, her married name became Lombard.2
