     Archibald William Montgomerie was born in 1894.1 He was the son of Alexander Montgomerie and Emily Bashford.2 He married Barbara Mary Linton, daughter of Samuel Scott Linton, in 1942.1 He died in 1969.1
     Archibald William Montgomerie fought in the First World War, with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.1
