     William Eglinton Montgomerie was born on 15 April 1789.1 He was the son of Alexander Montgomerie and Elizabeth Taylor.2 He married Susanna Fraser Anderson, daughter of John Anderson, on 7 January 1824.1 He died on 14 June 1852 at age 63.1
     William Eglinton Montgomerie lived at Annick Lodge, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1

     Alexander Montgomerie was born on 10 November 1824.1 He was the son of William Eglinton Montgomerie and Susanna Fraser Anderson.2 He married Elizabeth Wright, daughter of Thomas Wright, in 1860.1 He died on 16 November 1890 at age 66.1
     Alexander Montgomerie gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 10th Foot.1 He lived at Annick Lodge, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 He lived at Eaglesham, Wanganui, New Zealand.1
