     Admiral John Eglinton Montgomerie was born on 23 December 1825.1 He was the son of William Eglinton Montgomerie and Susanna Fraser Anderson.2 He died on 10 September 1902 at age 76, unmarried.1
     Admiral John Eglinton Montgomerie held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ayrshire.1 He held the office of Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ayrshire.1

     Colonel Thomas George Montgomerie was born on 23 April 1830.1 He was the son of William Eglinton Montgomerie and Susanna Fraser Anderson.2 He married Jane Farrington, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John James Farrington, on 11 February 1865.1 He died on 31 January 1878 at age 47.3
     Colonel Thomas George Montgomerie was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.).1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.3

     From 11 February 1865, her married name became Montgomerie.

     Major Hastings Seton Montgomerie graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was decorated with the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 9th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment.1
