     Ethel Anna Montgomery was born in 1887.1 She was the daughter of Sir Henry James Purvis-Russell-Hamilton-Montgomery, 7th Bt. and Mary Maude Purvis-Russell.1 She married George Balfour-Kinnear, son of James Balfour-Kinnear, on 7 August 1913.1 She and George Balfour-Kinnear were divorced in 1919.1 She died on 16 February 1968.1
     From 7 August 1913, her married name became Balfour-Kinnear.
