     From 4 March 1857, her married name became Montgomery.1

     Sir Philip Perceval was the son of Richard Perceval and Alice Sherman.1 He married Catherine Usher, daughter of Arthur Usher and Judith Newcomen, in 1626.1 He died on 10 November 1647.1
     He acquired approximately 100,000 acres of forfeited lands in Ireland.1

     Richard Perceval was born in 1550.1 He was the son of George Perceval and Elizabeth Bampfylde.1 He married, secondly, Alice Sherman, daughter of John Sherman.1 He married, firstly, Joan Young, daughter of Henry Young.1 He died in 1620.1
     Richard Perceval was educated at St. Paul's School, London, England.1 He was confidential agent to Lord Burghley.1 In 1586 he deciphered the secret letters which gave Queen Elizabeth I the first intelligence about the Spanish Armada.1 He was Secretary of the Court of Wards [Ireland].1 He was Registrar of the Court of Wards [Ireland] in 1616.1 He had three sons and two daughter by his first wife.1

     Brigadier Ernest John Montgomery was born on 24 March 1901.1 He was the son of Herbert Elphinstone Montgomery and Janet Katharine Olive Anson.1 He married Rosemary Elizabeth Noble, daughter of Sir John Noble, 1st Bt., on 11 March 1931.1 He died on 10 October 1972 at age 71.1
     Brigadier Ernest John Montgomery was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyllshire.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1940.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.1 He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1950.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the service of the Highland Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Malayan Campaign between 1951 and 1954.1 He was Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1953.1
