Henry Keith Purvis-Russell-Montgomery was born in 1896.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry James Purvis-Russell-Hamilton-Montgomery, 7th Bt. and Mary Maude Purvis-Russell.¹ He married Cynthia Louisa Winifred Maconochie-Welwood, daughter of John Allan Maconochie-Welwood, on 23 April 1930.¹ He died on 1 October 1954.¹

     James David Keith Montgomery was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Exeter University, Exeter, Devon, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1976 in the service of the Royal Highland Regiment (Black Watch).¹ He retired from the military in 1986.¹ He lived in 2003 at Kinross House, Kinross-shire, Scotland.¹

     Cynthia Louisa Winifred Maconochie-Welwood is the daughter of John Allan Maconochie-Welwood.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Henry Keith Purvis-Russell-Montgomery, son of Sir Henry James Purvis-Russell-Hamilton-Montgomery, 7th Bt. and Mary Maude Purvis-Russell, on 23 April 1930.¹
     Her married name became Purvis-Russell-Montgomery. She lived in 2003 at Kinross House, Kinross, Perthshire, Scotland.¹

     Sir Henry James Purvis-Russell-Hamilton-Montgomery, 7th Bt. was born on 6 September 1859.¹ He was the son of Captain Thomas Henry Montgomery and Hon. Anna Maria Elphinstone.¹ He married Mary Maude Purvis-Russell, daughter of T. Purvis-Russell, in 1882.¹ He died on 6 August 1947 at age 87.¹

Peebles [U.K., 1801] on 1 April 1930.¹ He was also known as Henry James Purvis-Russell-Hamilton-Montgomery as of 1933.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Kinross-shire in 1934.¹
