     Frances Maud Spencer-Smith was the daughter of Captain Gilbert Joshua Spencer-Smith.1 She married Henry Maxwell Armstrong, son of Rt. Hon. Henry Bruce Armstrong and Margaret Leader, on 8 April 1923, they were without issue.1 She died on 6 June 1962.1
      From 8 April 1923, her married name became Armstrong.1

     Hon. Kathleen Marion Napier is the daughter of Edward Herbert Scott Napier, 4th Baron Napier of Magdala and Florence Martha Perceval.2 She married James Robert Bargrave Armstrong, son of Rt. Hon. Henry Bruce Armstrong and Margaret Leader, on 22 February 1930.1 She died on 14 September 1986.3
      From 22 February 1930, her married name became Armstrong.1

Edward Herbert Scott Napier, 4th Baron Napier of Magdala1

     Edward Herbert Scott Napier, 4th Baron Napier of Magdala was born on 16 December 1861.2 He was the son of Field Marshal Robert Cornelis Napier, 1st Baron Napier of Magdala and Mary Cecilia Scott.3 He married Florence Martha Perceval, daughter of General John Maxwell Perceval, on 11 July 1900.2 He died on 20 July 1948 at age 86.3
     He was educated at Cooper's Hill Engineering College.2 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.).3 He was with the Indian State Railways.3 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the East Yorkshire Volunteers and Admiralty.2 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Napier of Magdala, in Abyssinia and of Caryngton, co. Palatine of Chester [U.K., 1868] on 2 May 1935.2

     Henry Napier Armstrong was born on 28 February 1936.2 He is the son of James Robert Bargrave Armstrong and Hon. Kathleen Marion Napier.1 He married Rosmarie Alice White, daughter of Harold Ducket White, on 25 February 1967.2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Engineers (Territorial Army).1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1961 entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-law.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).2 He held the office of Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Tanzania.1 As of 1976, Henry Napier Armstrong lived at Ibonia Estate, Kiambu, Kenya.1 He lived in 2003 at Fellows Hall, Killylea, County Armagh, Ireland.2
