Bridget Macdonnell1

     Bridget Macdonnell was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles MacDonnell and Bridget Bayly.1 She married William Henry Armstrong, son of Rt. Hon. John Armstrong and Letitia Greene, on 7 April 1809.1 She died on 20 October 1860.1
     From 7 April 1809, her married name became Armstrong.1

Lieutenant John Heaton-Armstrong1

     Lieutenant John Heaton-Armstrong was born on 1 May 1815.1 He was the son of William Henry Armstrong and Bridget Macdonnell.2 He married Josephine Thérèse Mayr-Melnhof, daughter of unknown Mayr-Melnhof, 1st Baron, on 29 May 1849 at HBM Embassy, Vienna, AustriaG.1 He died on 29 April 1891 at age 75.1
     He was given the name of John Armstrong at birth.2 He succeeded as the Lord of the Manor of Roscrea [feudal baron] in 1835.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Austrian chirassiers and Walmoden Dragoons.1 He declined the honours of the Count of the Austrian Empire and of the Imperial Chamberlain.1 His name was legally changed to John Heaton-Armstrong when he assumed the additional surname and arms of Heaton, his great grandmother's surname, by Royal Licence.1

Colonel William Edward Armstrong-Macdonnell1

     Colonel William Edward Armstrong-Macdonnell was the son of William Henry Armstrong and Bridget Macdonnell.1 He married Hon. Juliana Cecilia O'Brien, daughter of Lucius O'Brien, 13th Baron of Inchiquin and Mary FitzGerald, on 20 July 1858.1 He died on 11 November 1883.1 He was also reported to have died on 14 November 1883.2
     He was given the name of William Edward Armstrong at birth.1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1853.1 In 1858 his name was legally changed to Colonel William Edward Armstrong-Macdonnell when he assumed the additional surname and arms of Macdonnell, (his mother's surname), by Royal Licence.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Clare Militia.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at New Hall, Ennis, County Clare, IrelandG.1

     Hon. Juliana Cecilia O'Brien was the daughter of Lucius O'Brien, 13th Baron of Inchiquin and Mary FitzGerald.1,2 She married Colonel William Edward Armstrong-Macdonnell, son of William Henry Armstrong and Bridget Macdonnell, on 20 July 1858.1 She died on 26 August 1925.1
     From 20 July 1858, her married name became Armstrong-Macdonnell.1

Juliana Cecilia O'Brien, on 28 March 1896.1 She died on 22 November 1921 at age 52.2
     From 1890, her married name became Stewart.1 From 28 March 1896, her married name became Armstrong-Macdonnell.2
