     Charlotte Elizabeth Sarah Newton was the daughter of Henry Newton and Elizabeth Jane Doyne.1 She married, firstly, Captain Thomas John Mitchell in 1868, they were the parents of one son.1 She married, secondly, Reverend Henry James Rees-Mogg, son of William Rees-Mogg and Ann James, on 22 November 1877.1 She died on 20 December 1925.1
      From 1868, her married name became Mitchell.1 From 22 November 1877, her married name became Rees-Mogg.1
